SWAMI VIVEKANANDA Says “Education is the manifestation of perfection that already exists in man. “ Right from the day of its inception in 1966 TRR Government Degree College aims at scattering the seeds of knowledge that only brings light and colour to the lives of rural poor and needy. When Sri Thikkavarapu Rami Reddy garu, Sri. Chenchu Rama Naidu garu came forward to take up the noble task of establishing a college of high quality, he could have believed in the dictum that education is the best way of serving humanity. In this aid the contributions made by local people like our Honourable M.L.A, Sri. M. Maheedhar Reddy garu, Sri. Kancharla Ramaiah garu and Sri. N. Surya Narayana garu are commendable. The founder principal Prof. T. Krishna Swamy brought glory to the chair with his high spiritedness, commitment, noble vision and ever readiness to the welfare of students and that has been the history continued down by many stalwarts and now by Dr. M. Ravikumar garu.

The college has celebrated its Golden Jubilee Celebrations in January 2017.So far the college has been successful in fine shaping the students character, in making those good citizens and establishing human values.
